Finally, India is just beyond
this modern airport. True enough, as we flagged one of Kolkata's signature old
yellow cabs, we were transported back in time and saw a chaotic meshing of the
modern and the past, the bustling and the serene. Highlighted by human and
animal activities—coming from all directions—seamlessly moving with tenacious
force, watching the sight that greeted us, even from the inside of a careening
cab, my senses felt it as forceful as being on the receiving end of a left
hook, an uppercut and a jab.
Postcard Series is a digital
throwback to the good ole days of sending postcards to your love ones back
home. It consist of a single photograph and a brief narrative of less than 100
words.
